Berry 608.241.9789 or wistax@wistax.org September 13, 2007 Durham Joins WISTAX as Policy Research Analyst MADISON—Penny Durham, originally of Wausau, has accepted a policy research analyst position with the nonpartisan, nonprofit Wisconsin Taxpayers Alliance (WISTAX). Prior to joining WISTAX, Durham served as a regional project analyst with the Governor’s Office of Agricultural Policy in Kentucky working on the nation’s largest agricultural development project. She also worked for the Kentucky Cabinet for Health Services on long-term care issues, and for a third party administrator on tax-advantaged employee benefit programs in Madison. The Wausau native is a graduate of Centre College in Danville, Kentucky where she earned a degree in International Relations, spending a semester abroad in Ecuador. She is also a Wausau East High School graduate and the daughter of Marathon County Labor Council President, Don Cline. Durham will contribute to WISTAX publications, The Wisconsin Taxpayer, a monthly magazine, Focus, bi-monthly newsletter, and several annual publications, MunicipalFacts and Measuring Success: Benchmarks for a Competitive Wisconsin.
